Diana Inberg

USRA set up our first tent last month, at Motormania in Denver, Colorado, sponsored by Proplayersassociation.org, I looked around and thought, “We’re a little too far to the outside of tent row.” But as often happens, the lord delivered.

Mrs. Inberg, Diana pulled up in her 2008 Nissan 350Z. I immediately took notice of her car because I do like a good Z car. Shimmering purple candy/magical paint complimenting the black split Y wheels tucked in arches capped in carbon, flowed and I knew this car was fairly serious. “Now I want to see more.”, I thought.

Diana Inberg and her 2008 Nissan 350Z definitely made an impression, even given the stiff competition from other well built vehicles. To start off about Diana’s amazing attitude revolving around car enthusiasm is evident when she starts talking about her finely built chariot.

She is the owner of a 2008 model year (my) she bought, brand new, back in 2009. I was floored. I haven't owned a car longer than 5 years, and that is probably stretching it, as I have a borderline unhealthy obsession with cars. So anyone with that level of dedication to a platform always piques my interest. So I listened.

She has attended more shows than probably anyone I know. This is her passion. Plain and simple. In fact it is the simplicity of her passion that strikes me about her personality (I would like to clarify one thing before moving on, I have built trashed out shit boxes and grown them back to existence with my good friend, Aaron Eddington of Auto Pilot Exotics, but he and I have also built and maintained helicopters in excess of $30 mil. So I have been around a couple things and seeing someone with a passion for their chosen platform, as she has, deserves respect IMO.

Her powerplant is the VQ35HR. This oem Nissan VQ35HR engine is a 3.5-liter V6 engine that was introduced in 2007. It is a high-revving, high-performance engine that produces 306 horsepower and 268 lb-ft of torque. The VQ35HR engine is known for its smooth power delivery, excellent fuel economy, and long-lasting reliability. It has been used in a variety of Nissan vehicles, including the 350Z, G35, and Infiniti FX35. Her car has the bolt-on equipment that makes her more power, from intake to exhaust, her mods are intentional. The reliability of her car was critical for all the long distance trips she makes. So her design is a truly well balanced car that does alot very well.

One immediate draw to a car for me is a wheel setup. A wheel setup and stance give insight into the car's ultimate intention. Stanced, lowered, tucked, rolled, we all know there are many options. Diana’s setup indicates a long distance driver or someone who appreciates the best of both worlds, static and dynamic, track and show, dual spec. My guess was correct. She drives everywhere. With no cruise control btw!

She recently attended Z-Fest 2023, in Branson, MO, and won Best 350Z. You can see that here . She also has made the acquaintance of Z royalty and has it documented. Her industry involvement and knowledge were jaw dropping.

From the carbon fiber edged exterior and  door sills to asian inspired graphics in the interior, this car displayed tasteful mods everywhere. The exterior of her car includes some pretty nice mods. The engine bay is loaded with custom touches that make this truly a bespoke edition of Z.

Show car and long hauler, Diana’s car is her display of love for the car, the industry and the hobby. She is a true enthusiast in my opinion and I was honored to meet her and spend some time talking cars.

Thank you all for listening and give Diana a shoutout on her links. I’m sure she would love the support.
